Hey doods!

Yeeeeesssss, I just (finally) finished decorating my new place. Talk about a relief. It took me 6 months to do, jeebus. But I'm really happy with the results.

I tried to style my room in a "hotel" kind of way. I even have a mini bar in there and everything. XD lol.

In other news, I'm feeling very fortunate at this moment in time. My job has been going wonderful, I have an apartment right on the beach (literally on the sand ), and I'll be visiting my friend in England this Summer for the first time.

Yeehaw.

It feels especially amazing in comparison with last year...which sucked so much. I was in one of the hardest college programs I've ever been in, couldn't go out virtually ever, and then of course I got a bone infection in the middle of it all and was sick for months (my last surgery is actually this weekend, and then I'll be done with it ).

But yeah, I managed to push through it all, and now things are looking up quite a bit. Let's hope it stays that way. XD lol.

OH, and speaking of college, I just applied to a Masters of Arts program. Unfortunately, I applied a week after the deadline (the deadline to apply was in mid January of this year, which I think is awfully early to apply for the Fall semester ). However, they were kind enough to agree to at least look over my application anyway. We'll see if I get accepted. I sure hope so. If not, I'll just have to wait till next year.

Once I get my masters degree, I'll be able to start teaching college level courses, which would be awesome. (But that's a long way away, I'm sure.)

It's been a long time since I've posted on here. What's been going on in the life of all my DA peeps?
